Directive 2011/65/EU restrict the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment. It regulates the use
and marketing of hazardous substances in electrical appliances and electronic components. Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS 2) replaced
the precursor Directive 2002/95/EC (RoHS 1) on January 3, 2013.
On November 15, 2017, Directive 2011/65/EU was supplemented by Directive (EU) 2017/2102.
