Fabrimex AG was founded more than 60 years ago. We have been developing and producing power supplies in-house since more than 30 years and have earned an excellent reputation in the Swiss and the international markets.
Thanks to our vast experience, we are fully aware of our customer's expectations:

Dates
1947 - Foundation of the Fabrimex AG, based in Zürich. First representation was for Bosch capacitors used in equipment for power factor correction.
1955 - With the take over of the general agency of International Rectifier (USA) for semiconductors, Fabrimex is entering the industrial electronics market. In the following year the activities with Texas Instruments is starting.
1978 - Fabrimex begins with the in-house development and production of power supplies. The international activities are intensified.
1979 - Start of activities in the photovoltaics by the take over of the representation for ARCO-Solar (USA).
1982 - Acquisition of the Dr. K. Witmer Elektronik AG, Erlenbach, the leading swiss manufacturer of bench power supplies.
1990 - Founding of the CAC Fabrimex GmbH and the sales activities for power supplies in Germany are intensified.
1992 - Sale of the component distribution business to the company Spoerle Electronic (Arrows).
1994 - Relocation and concentration of all divisions to one site in Volketswil, close to Zürich.
1995 - Founding of the Fabrimex GmbH as a production company for electronics and the manufacturing of power supplies.
1996 - Certification of our quality management systems according to ISO 9001.
2001 - Founding of the Fabrimex Far East Ltd. as an IPO with a branch in Taipei.
2005 - Partition of the FABRIMEX AG into two legal entities.

- FABRIMEX SYSTEMS AG for industrial PC’s and imaging
2007 - FABRIMEX AG power supplies becomes a subsidiary company of the WERAP AG, Bubikon and moves from Volketswil to Bubikon.
